HANDCRAFT
Making shoes is and remains manual labour, there are almost no
automated processes. Around 150 production steps and an average of 125
individual parts are required for each shoe.
Design, development, administration and the majority of production have been based in Germany for over 100 years. In 2001, the company opened two of its own factories in Hungary.

The opening of the first concept store in 2008 was a decisive milestone in the further expansion of the brand's presence.
