We store the data required to process the contract up to expiration of the statutory guarantee and, if applicable, contractual guarantee periods.

The data processed to undertake precontractual measures are deleted as soon as the measures are undertaken and it is clear that a contract will not be concluded.


C. Opening a Kennel & Schmenger customer account
You have the possibility of opening a personal customer account (hereinafter referred to as ‘customer account’) with the Kennel & Schmenger online shop on the website. You can store your personal data in your customer account, making it easier to purchase goods in the Kennel & Schmenger online shop. We also offer you certain convenience tools, such as a display of your purchase history. D. Ordering in the Kennel & Schmenger online shop
1. Ordering via a customer account
The information provided in your customer account is stored in the central customer database of Kennel & Schmenger. Within the scope of the ordering process, you are prompted to log into your customer account with your email address and password. Your delivery and invoice address as well as your telephone number for any queries arising in respect of your order are already automatically prefilled in your customer account. In the course of the ordering process you have the possibility to modify or supplement such information (e.g. give a different delivery or invoice address).


2. Guest orders
Naturally, you can also purchase from our online shop without using an existing customer account. In this case, you can enter the information required to fulfil your order in the ordering process in the order form ‘customer information’ provided for this purpose and send it directly to us by clicking on the button on the order form marked ‘next’. In order to process your order we require your first name and surname, email address, postal address, date of birth to prove that you are over 18 years of age, and telephone number for any queries arising in respect of your order.


E. Use of logistics providers
We pass your personal data on to logistics providers for the delivery of your order. They process such data on our behalf subject to the provisions of this privacy policy and the security measures required.


F. Collection of outstanding receivables
We also use your personal data to collect outstanding receivables. For this purpose, we engage collection agencies that process your data on our behalf subject to the provisions of this privacy policy and the security measures required.


G. Credit assessment
If we are offering advance payment, e.g. in the case of purchase on account, we may obtain a credit screening on the basis of the mathematical-statistical method applied at SCHUFA Holding AG, Kormoranweg 5, 65201 Wiesbaden, to safeguard our legitimate interests. For this purpose, we send the personal data required for a credit assessment to SCHUFA Holding AG and use the information received on the statistical probability of payment default to make an informed decision on creating, maintaining or terminating a contractual relationship.

Address data may be transmitted to companies collecting receivables on a commercial basis for the purpose of identifying debtors. H. Cookies

M. Data use on registration for the newsletter email
If you have registered for our newsletter, we use the data required or communicated to us separately by you for this purpose compliant with your consent to regularly send you our newsletter email.  It is possible to unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time, either by sending a message via the contact options described below or via the link in the newsletter provided for this purpose.

Such cookies have limited validity, do not contain any personal data and are, therefore, not used for personal identification.
